Poster about an cultural topic

Image
What people think about some cultural aspects in the UPN? Sheryl Opinion:  Our teacher told us we had to create some questions about the intercultural topic he assigned us and then make a poster with them. In my case, the topic was Music and Sounds. My partner and I asked questions about how music affects their lives, what kind of music they recommend to someone who is sad, and other questions. I liked seeing the answers, but some did not take the activity seriously, and that ruined it a bit. I must confess I feel uncomfortable when things like that happen. But in general, I like talking about music, and I saw that people liked it too. It was interesting to observe how people identified with the music they listened to. We also received many responses, and I liked that too. Music is one of the aspects that most accompanies people is lives and growth; it helps when one is sad, happy, or in love. I like to share this reflection with those who wrote and shared their answer...

Radical Movie

Radical Movie: What is in being a teacher? Sheryl Opinion:  In my English class, we watched a Mexican film called "Radical," which tells the story of a peculiar teacher. This story made me think about what kind of teacher I want to be. To be honest, ever since I thought about being a teacher, I have been afraid of making mistakes. I am aware that being a teacher is very difficult, and I am afraid of not doing it well. I am afraid of saying something that will make someone feel bad and, with that, make them think they are not good enough to do what they want. I am very afraid of being a bad teacher. I know complicated situations arise, like the lives the children in the film led, and I am scared of not being able to help them. But I know that the fear of difficulties should not paralyze me. There are beautiful things about being a teacher, and I am eager to discover them. The teacher in the film made me think about how human it is to feel fear; now we are two people who live...

Javeriana University Blog

Video blog A look at two universities: Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad Pedagógica Nacional                 Sheryl Opinion:    This time, I watched a video my classmates made. They had to go to the Pontifical Javeriana University for an activity. In that activity, they had to compare Javeriana University and the National Pedagogical University. I really enjoyed watching them and learned things I did not know. The spaces at Javeriana University are beautiful, and I loved the library! It was interesting to observe the research they conducted. The classrooms at Javeriana University are better than those at UPN, and student mobility is better too. Regardless, I still prefer UPN to Javeriana, but it was fun to watch them record themselves and talk about many things. I really appreciate the work my classmates did.
